WHO I AM
I am a warm, compassionate and genuine person who has always felt a strong connection to caring for others. My background in healthcare, including working in hospital and palliative care settings, taught me the importance of being present with people during some of the most difficult and vulnerable times in their lives. These experiences have shaped the therapist I am today and strengthened my belief that sometimes, simply having someone who listens, understands and genuinely cares can make a meaningful difference.
I believe every person has a story worth hearing and that there is good in everyone, regardless of what they have experienced or the challenges they may be facing. I am naturally open, empathetic and non-judgemental, and I value getting to know the person behind the difficulties they bring to therapy. My hope is to create a space where you can feel safe enough to be yourself, explore your experiences honestly and begin to understand yourself with greater compassion.
"Just be sound"

How I Work
My practice is grounded in the Person-Centred Approach. At the heart of my work is a simple philosophy: just be sound. While that may not be a formal psychological theory, it reflects how I strive to show up for every client—with kindness, authenticity, respect, and genuine care. I believe that when people feel safe, accepted, and understood, they are better able to explore their inner world and begin the process of healing.
Alongside my person-centred foundation, I work within an addiction service, where I have seen first-hand that there is goodness in everyone, no matter what they have been through. I believe we all carry different parts of ourselves, some that we embrace and others that we struggle with. Together, we can gently explore these parts with curiosity and compassion, helping you develop greater self-acceptance and understanding.
Many of the beliefs we carry about ourselves are shaped by past experiences, relationships, and trauma. In therapy, we will explore those beliefs together, discovering which ones truly belong to you and which were placed upon you by others or by difficult life experiences. My hope is that, by the end of our work together, you will leave with a deeper understanding of yourself, greater self-compassion, and the freedom to live more authentically.
